PARIS, July 22 (Reuters) - The banking arm of French mail operator La Poste said on Wednesday its chairman Remy Weber will quit in August following a difference of opinion on the governance of life insurer CNP Assurances, in which the state-backed lender owns 62%. The state-owned mail operator La Poste took over CNP Assurances in a bid to create a state-controlled bank and insurer focused on the country’s rural areas.
