In the early morning hours of Dec. 16, Rhonda Brown, a Chickasaw elder and laboratory phlebotomy supervisor with the Chickasaw Nation Department of Health fighting on the front lines of the battle against COVID-19, received the first official dose of the COVID-19 vaccination among Chickasaw employees.
