Gates-backed Pivotal Commware raises $50M to expand its 5G business
Kirkland-based Pivotal Commware annoucned Thursday it has raised a $50 million Series C to expand the reach of its 5G-boosting technology. Tracker Capital Management led the round, while Bill Gates, Lux Capital, Thermo, DIG Investment and Devonshire Investors all participated.
"All things 5G right now are just sizzling hot, as they should be," said Brian Deutsch, CEO of Pivotal. "Telecomm is cool again like it was in the '90s and for all the right reasons."
