Georgetown and U-Va. suspend in-person teaching because of coronavirus

The University of Virginia and Georgetown University announced Wednesday they will suspend until further notice all in-person teaching in an effort to slow the spread of the coronavirus.

U-Va. President James E. Ryan said the public university in Charlottesville, which has more than 24,000 students, will move classes online after spring break.
