WASHINGTON, Sept. 11 -- The House Education and Labor Committee issued a report (H.Rpt. 116-494) on the Pregnant Workers Fairness Act (H.R. 2694) that aims to eliminate discrimination and promote women's health and economic security by ensuring reasonable workplace accommodations for workers whose ability to perform the functions of a job are limited by pregnancy, childbirth or a related medical condition. The report was advanced by Rep. Robert C. Scott, D-Virginia, on Sept. 8.
