Japanese Market Sharply Lower, Extending Losses

(RTTNews) - The Japanese stock market is sharply lower on Wednesday, with the benchmark Nikkei index down more than 500 points to crash below 28,500 level, following negative cues overnight from Wall Street as weak crude oil and gold prices weighed on the market. The broad weakness in the market is partially offset by strength in technology stocks.
