Judge: WSU board meeting was legally held
A Wayne State University board meeting last summer where half the board didn't show up was legal, a state judge ruled this week.
At the board meeting, held in June, board members supportive of university president Roy Wilson said his "ex-officio" status on the board meant he could be counted as a member of the board, establishing a quorum and allowing the board to vote. Wilson did not vote.
