The man hired to help Kent State University double the amount of research it conducts knows that some faculty members are skeptical about whether the university is actually serious about achieving that goal.
After all, they've heard similar plans in the past - plans that didn't come to fruition. In fact, the amount of research funding flowing into Kent State has decreased in recent years.
But Paul DiCorleto says the university is taking real steps to turn the situation around.
