ALEXANDRIA, Va., March 28 -- Loyola University Chicago, Maywood, Illinois, has been assigned a patent (No. 10,597,655, initially filed Feb. 2, 2018) developed by two co-inventors for "methods for modulating KLHL1 levels, methods for modulating current activity in T-type calcium channels, molecules therefor, and methods for identifying molecules therefor." The co-inventors are Erika Sofia Piedras-Renteria, Riverside, Illinois, and Jody Lee Martin, Oak Park, Illinois.
