Mediation has failed in Kentucky's Medicaid contract lawsuit

Mediation intended to untangle a messy legal dispute over the state's five Medicaid contracts has failed, according to documents from Franklin Circuit Court.
The dispute goes back to September, when Louisville-based Anthem Kentucky Managed Care Plan Inc. sued the Kentucky Cabinet for Health and Family Services, the Kentucky Finance and Administration Cabinet and five companies that were awarded Medicaid contracts.
