The United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit (Ninth Circuit) issued a ruling this week that requires arbitrators to disclose whether they have an ownership interest in their alternative dispute provider organization.

The court's decision also vacated an arbitration award against Olympic Eagle Distributing (Olympic Eagle), a beverage distributor, and in favor of the beverage company Monster Energy.
