Softbank adds new content by backing Legendary

Days after Softbank Corp. reportedly held talks with DreamWorks Animation SKG Inc.(SKG), Masayoshi Son's ambitious telecom and digital communications group announced a $250 million investment in film and comic book outfit Legendary Entertainment.

Run by entrepreneur Thomas Tull, Legendary's films range from "The Dark Knight" and "The Hangover" to "Where the Wild Things Are" and the Jackie Robinson bio-pic "42." The comics include "Godzilla: Awakening" and "A Town Called Dragon."
