Credit information agency TransUnion (TRU) began trading on the New York Stock Exchange Thursday, June 25, setting up a future exit for its main private equity backers, GS Capital Partners LP and Advent International Corp.
The Chicago company priced 29.55 million shares at $22.50 per share, raising about $663 million. Shares, which are trading under the ticker TRU, rose nearly 11.51%, or $2.58 per share, in afternoon trading to $25.08 per share, giving the company a market capital...
