MARKET JITTERS PERSIST. Wall Street turned in its second straight mixed performance Tuesday as worries about the economy and the planned employee buyout of UAL Corp. bogged the market down. The Dow Jones industrial average closed down 12.13 points at 2,905.20 after fluctuating throughout the session and plunging nearly 39 points in the last half-hour of trading.
