When hackathons just aren't enough : Area nonprofits are forging longer-term partnerships with technology experts to solve problems

Software firm The Nerdery has been holding hackathons for charities since 2008, challenging staff and other volunteers to create websites for nonprofits that can't afford them. But over time, leaders realized that organizations need more than one day of support to tackle their tech challenges.
