Acelo Semiconductor was created in July 2000 to become the leading manufacturer of high speed and high bandwidth communications integrated circuits. Acelo Semiconductor has an exclusive technology license with Rockwell Science Center for both the GaAs PHEMT and InP HEMT processes. By combining leading process technology with world-class designers, Acelo offers solutions to some of the most difficult challenges faced by telecommunications equipment makers in the core and metro applications. Acelo will target a focused list of integrated circuits which can better achieve high performance requirements by using compound semiconductors. Acelo will be targeting OC 192 & OC 768 modulator/ laser diode driver, OC-192 & OC-768 transimpedance amplifier, and OC 768 mux/demux. In addition, Acelo also intends to produce power amplifiers and low noise amplifiers operating between 20 & 50 GHz for the broadband wireless market.
