Company Description

The Argosy Foundation The nautilus shell is one of many shapes found in nature that depict the Fibonacci series, a number series that has a most unique property: dynamic symmetry. Dynamic symmetry might best be described as change, in balance, over time. In the case of the nautilus shell, as it grows, it does so in perfect proportionality: it achieves balance from its change. So in the Argosy logo we see a symbol for change, but in a balanced, harmonious way. Understanding change in this way - how it relates to an environment and pursuing it with the most constructive, beneficial results in mind - is a helpful guide for the Argosy Foundation's philanthropy. Through a combination of humility, continuous learning, and an honest-broker approach to our philanthropic activity, we share a vision of making a positive impact through Argosy, helping to solve problems in our communities and across the country.
