CORO'S MISSION IS TO ADVANCE ETHICAL AND EFFECTIVE LEADERS WHO SHARE A COMMITMENT TO CIVIC ENGAGEMENT. WE ARE BUILDING A PIPELINE OF LEADERS TO FOSTER COLLABORATION WITHIN AND ACROSS THE REGION'S BUSINESS, GOVERNMENT AND NON-PROFIT SECTORS. WE DON'T CREATE LEADERS; WE BRING OUT THE LEADER IN EACH PERSON. WE PROVIDE THE TOOLS THEY NEED TO CHANGE THE WORLD AROUND THEM. DURING THE 2017-2018 FISCAL YEAR, CORO ENGAGED MORE THAN 176 PEOPLE IN OUR PROGRAMS AND OVER 2,500 SINCE 1999. CORO ALUMNI HOLD LEADERSHIP POSITIONS ACROSS PITTSBURGH'S BUSINESS, GOVERNMENT AND NONPROFIT SECTORS.
