DCIG utilizes a variety of relative value arbitrage strategies including but not limited to credit, convertible, volatility, capital structure, sovereign and event driven. The firm may perform fundamental research at either or both of the micro and macro levels to develop and implement trades and hedging strategies in conjunction with quantitative processes. They may invest in any type of financial instrument and is not limited by geography, size, asset class or by any other component in its pursuit of its investment strategy. DCIG’s investment process can generally be broken down into three steps: (1) idea sourcing; (2) trade construction; (3) portfolio optimization.
