Eastern Oregon University (EOU) was founded in 1929 and is located in La Grande, Oregon. The school is located between Portland, Oregon and Boise, Idaho. EOU offers undergraduate and graduate degree programs in the arts, sciences, healthcare, business, and education fields. Eastern Oregon University also offers pre-professional programs as well as initiatives for high school students to get a head start on earning college credits. In addition, EOU offers online programs to provide students the opportunity to earn their degree through distance learning. There are several clubs and organizations for students to choose from at EOU, helping them gain invaluable life, communication, and leadership skills as well as enhancing student life. Students with a high school degree and GPA of 3.0 or higher that meet other qualifications are automatically accepted at Eastern Oregon University. Students with GPAs below 3.0 may be accepted based on other information, such as SAT/ACT scores. Admissions representatives will review your application and educational history and determine if you are eligible for an automatic entry. In-state residents receive a discount on tuition at EOU, helping reduce the investment needed for their education.
