His areas of responsibility include our strategic sourcing programs, supply chain solutions, pharmacy solutions, workforce and HR offerings, analytics technologies, advisory services, network services and market intelligence capabilities.

Prior to this, Sundaram was president of Vizient performance improvement services, which encompassed Vizient’s analytics, networks and advisory areas.

From 2009 to 2016, Sundaram was at MedAssets, serving in several roles, including president of the spend and clinical resource management segment. Before that, he was with the Boston Consulting Group.

Sundaram earned a bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering from the University of California at Berkeley and an MBA from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
