Biography

Brady Edwards focuses his practice on the defense of serial and mass tort litigation, with a particular emphasis on designing and implementing coordinated national defense strategies for companies embroiled in asbestos litigation. Brady currently leads the national representations of more than 20 corporate asbestos defendants. As an integral part of his practice, Brady has also been at the forefront of designing creative alternative fee arrangements to provide clients with excellent service and predictable cost structures.

Extended Profile

In 2007, Brady opened the firm’s Houston office and served as its Managing Partner through 2014. During this time, the office grew from a four-lawyer litigation outpost to its current size of approximately 75 lawyers. From 2009 to 2015, Brady served as the firm wide operations partner for the litigation practice. From 2013 to 2018, Brady served as a member of the bipartisan Federal Judicial Evaluation Committee, which is responsible for screening and advising the Texas senators regarding nominees for vacancies on the federal bench and in US Attorney offices in Texas. Following graduation from law school, Brady served as a law clerk to Judge Richard A. Schell of the US District Court for the Eastern District of Texas.
