Bryce Giddens is a partner in the firm's corporate and securities practice group. He maintains a general business and corporate law practice with a focus on the solid waste and resource recovery industry. He has extensive experience representing solid waste companies in negotiating collection agreements, landfill capacity agreements, recyclables/organics processing agreements, transfer station agreements, and other commercial agreements within the solid waste industry. He has represented clients in structuring and negotiating joint ventures, waste-by-rail and waste-to-energy projects, and public-private partnerships. He regularly advises solid waste companies on RFP/bidding, subcontracting and exclusivity enforcement issues.
Beyond the solid waste area, Bryce's practice is focused on secured transactions and corporate/securities law. He has represented emerging and established company borrowers and their owners in a variety of lending transactions including bank credit facilities, venture debt, receivables financings, bond issuances and trust preferred transactions. His practice includes a variety of corporate/securities matters including private placements, public offerings, corporate restructurings and other corporate and transactional matters.
Prior to joining Howard Rice in 2003, Bryce did humanitarian work for the United Nations.
