Biography

Charles Farmer is a former for-profit leadership and management professional who joined the Center for Excellence in Education (CEE) in March 2010. Charles started as a volunteer and within two weeks, was hired as a full-time staff member. Charles quickly rose through the ranks; first as Program Coordinator in March 2010; then as Manager of the Teacher Enrichment Program (TEP) in December 2010. In May 2012, Charles was named Development Officer in May and he has been in this role ever since. Charles’ additional non-profit experience includes Grant Reviewer for the District of Columbia Superintendent of Education and serving on the Development Committee and the Board of Trustees at The Art League in Alexandria, Virginia. Charles holds a BA in Public Relations with a Minor in Marketing from the University of Texas.
