Junior League of Atlanta, Inc. was founded in 1916 with 45 members by Isoline Campbell, who believed that every member of the League had an obligation to use her talents and resources to improve the social and economic conditions of others. Today, the Junior League of Atlanta has over 4,000 members, making it one of the larger Leagues within the Association of Junior Leagues International (spanning over 294 Leagues).
