Biography

Prior to her appointment, Ms Reizniece Ozola was Minister of Economics (2014-2016) and served as Parliamentary Secretary for the Ministry of Transport (2010-2011 ).

From 2011 to 2014, Ms Reizniece Ozola was Member of the parliament of the Republic of Latvia (Saeima), Chairperson of the Commission on Education, Culture and Science and Member of the Legal Affairs Commission and the European Affairs Commission.

Between 2006 and 2010, Ms Reizniece Ozola worked as Head at the Foundation 'Ventspils High Technology Park'.

Bom in 1981 in KuldTga, Ms Reizniece Ozola holds a Master's degree in Business Administration from the International Space University in France and a Master's degree in Translation and Terminology from Ventspils University Collegue, Latvia.
