Eric Scalettar has worked in the field of hospital administration for the past 25 years. In his role as Maimonides chief planning officer, Mr. Scalettar has had an interest in the formulation of the corporation's strategic plan and facility master plan, planning and implementation of major construction projects, assessment and structuring of medical center operations, developing physician networks, payer negotiations, capital and operations budgeting, interfacing with regulatory and governmental agencies and other external matters and affairs. Mr. Scalettar represents Maimonides on the Boards of HealthFirst, Inc., and Briarwoods Insurance Company, Ltd., as well as a variety of external industry committees and forums. Mr. Scalettar received a BA from Harpur College, SUNY Binghamton, and an MPH from Yale School of Medicine, Department of Epidemiology and Public Health.
