Gabriel has significant experience in post-judgment proceedings and asset-recovery litigation. Gabriel also litigates bid protests and related Freedom of Information Act disputes and advises clients on issues relating to the award and performance of state and local government contracts, responses to competitive bid requests and requests for proposals, terms of contracts, and compliance with M/WBE and DBE business requirements. Most recently, Gabriel has assisted clients in protests related to contracts awarded by agencies of the State of Illinois.

Gabriel is committed to pro bono work and service in the community. He is a member of the advisory board of the Holocaust Educational Foundation of Northwestern University, a private, non-profit organization established in 1980 by survivors, their children and friends to preserve and promote awareness of the reality of the Holocaust; has assisted the Conference on Jewish Material Claims Against Germany, the organization responsible for negotiating for and administering the disbursement of compensation for injuries inflicted upon victims of Nazi persecution; and previously served as outside general counsel for litigation matters for a local, not-for-profit private school.
