EACH TEAM IS COMPRISED OF JEWISH ATHLETES FROM THE USA WHO REPRESENT THEIR COUNTRY IN THE ATHLETIC COMPETITION AND LEARN ABOUT THE JEWISH CULTURE AND HERITAGE IN THE HOST COUNTRY WHERE THE GAMES TAKE PLACE. IT IS THE UNIQUE COMBINATION OF SPORTS AND HISTORY THAT ALLOWS MACCABI USA TO CHANGE THE LIVES OF ALL WHO PARTICIPATE IN THE GAMES.
