Biography

Helen E. Tuttle is a partner in the Labor & Employment Practice Group and co-chair of the firm's Diversity Committee. A seasoned lawyer, she has defended clients in the financial services industry, retail, automotive, and other industries in employment and business disputes in state and federal courts, arbitrations, and before agencies (including the EEOC and the OFCCP). Labor and Employment Practice. Helen concentrates her practice in management-side labor and employment issues. She effectively partners with her clients, counseling them through a variety of employment issues such as obligations under federal and state laws, disciplinary actions, terminations, reorganizations, and reductions in workforce. Helen also reviews company policies and conducts training sessions focused on a variety of topics that assist her clients to create workplace cultures that are designed to mitigate the risk of legal action by employees. When workplace matters do result in litigation, Helen defends employers in federal and state courts and administrative agencies, focusing on, among other areas, discrimination, harassment, retaliation, hiring, compensation, promotion, and wrongful termination claims.
