Biography

Janine Musholt joined The Woodruff Arts Center in Summer 2013. As Executive Vice President of Advancement & External Affairs, Mrs. Musholt leads the organization’s efforts to raise over $40M in contributed revenue to support the Alliance Theatre, the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra, and the High Museum of Art each year. Recently she led the effort to complete phase one of the Art Center’s Transformation Campaign; raising over $110M to grow the endowment, provide greater access for families, and transform the Center’s Alliance Theatre spaces. In addition to overseeing these fundraising efforts, Mrs. Musholt leads the Woodruff Arts Center’s communications, Board relations, and external affairs. She has been recognized as an Arts Leader of Metro Atlanta (2014) and as a member of the 2019 Class of Leadership Atlanta.

Prior to joining the Woodruff Arts Center, Mrs. Musholt served as Chief Development Officer for the United States Olympic Committee, based in Colorado Springs, CO. Under her leadership, the USOC raised more than $50M annually and increased contributions every year of her tenure. Mrs. Musholt created the USOC’s development strategies and led its multi-channel fundraising program, including major gifts, capital projects, direct mail, telemarketing, grants and planned giving.

A New Jersey native, Musholt received a bachelor’s degree in American Studies from Dickinson College. She lives in Decatur, Georgia with her husband, daughter, two dogs and a cat.

he Colorado Springs Philharmonic is Southern Colorado's only professional resident orchestra. The Colorado Springs Philharmonic was formed in 2003 following the bankruptcy of the Colorado Springs Symphony in March of that year. To fund the first season of the Philharmonic, a fund-raising drive was conducted between June and November, raising $834,986 from nearly 2,000 people. An additional $290,000 was matching funds from El Pomar Foundation, Pikes Peak Community Foundation, the Joseph Henry Edmondson Foundation and the Bee Vradenburg Foundation
