Biography

Jinde Guo is a Chartered Financial Analyst and is responsible for the Foundation’s investment management activities. Before joining the Foundation, Ms. Guo worked at the John D. and Catherine T. MacArthur Foundation for seventeen years, where she was in charge of investment strategy development and implementation, manager selection and monitoring, and risk management. Ms. Guo also worked at the David and Lucile Packard Foundation as Managing Director, Marketable Securities.

Texas State University (informally known as Texas State) is a state university located in San Marcos, Texas, United States. Established in 1899 as the Southwest Texas State Normal School, it opened its doors in 1903 to 303 students with a focus to educate students to become teachers. Since that time it has grown into the largest institution in the Texas State University System and the fifth-largest university in the state of Texas boasting an enrollment of over 34,000 students.
