Advance Capital Management's (ACM) services are generally limited to advice and recommendations on those securities for which fees are charged, and recommended securities are generally limited to mutual funds and ETFs. In certain situations, they may provide investment advice on a range of securities beyond mutual funds and ETFs. These securities may include exchange listed and over-the-counter securities, foreign issues, warrants, corporate debt securities, commercial paper, certificates of deposit, municipal securities and U.S. Government securities.ACM's Investment Committee screens virtually all open end mutual funds and ETFs with respect to such criteria as fund ratings, risk-adjusted performance, fund size, manager tenure and availability of the fund to new investors. Once these funds have been identified, further fundamental analysis narrows the list of funds into a select group of approved funds. From these funds, ACM builds model portfolios based on each client's risk tolerances, investment objectives, investment time horizon, income needs and tax circumstances. The approved funds and subsequent portfolios are reviewed quarterly by ACM's investment committee. Custom portfolios may be constructed as customer circumstances and strategies require differing approaches to investing for such clients as high net-worth individuals.ACM's model portfolios are developed through a systematic investment process, and are designed to balance return with risk in a diversified, cost-effective approach that is supported by GIPS-verified performance results. The model portfolios include: ACM All Bond, ACM Conservative Income, ACM Retirement Income 3, ACM Growth & Income 1, ACM Growth 1, ACM Aggressive Growth, and ACM All Stock. The firm offers a family of no-load funds that are designed to be used alone or as part of a widely diversified portfolio. Each fund is managed for tax-efficiency with reasonable turnover and available in institutional and retail share classes. These funds include: Advance Capital I Balanced Fund (ADBAX/ADBNX), Advance Capital I Core Equity Fund (ADCEX/ADCNX), Advance Capital I Equity Growth Fund (ADEGX/ADENX), and Advance Capital I Retirement Income Fund (ADRIX/ADRNX).
