However, students at UNC never feel shuffled around, lost or like they’re just a number. Professors are highly accessible and are known for their dedication and individual work with students. Small learning communities also give students the sense of a personalized environment in which to study and make connections Student service counselors at UNC also help personalize the UNC experience, offering individual academic and career counseling based on each student’s goals, talents and needs. Many students live in campus dorms so that they may have the full UNC experience. The full range of financial aid options are also available to eligible students and include loans, grants, fellowships and scholarships.
