Biography

Manu Gayatrinath is a partner in the Washington, D.C. office and global Chair of the Recruiting Committee. Ms. Gayatrinath is also a member of the Finance Department and the Private Equity Finance Practice. Ms. Gayatrinath has represented sponsors, borrowers and lenders in secured lending and other financing transactions, including acquisition financings, cash-flow and asset-based loans, mezzanine and subordinated debt facilities, private equity bridge loan facilities and secured notes offerings.

Additionally, Ms. Gayatrinath has worked for a variety of clients on matters involving secured finance issues and general corporate issues.

The National Law Journal has named Ms. Gayatrinath a “D.C. Rising Star,” recognizing her as one of the 40 most accomplished young attorneys in the D.C. area, highlighting her impressive contributions to the firm and the legal industry. In 2016, she received a Euromoney Women in Business Law Award, naming her a “Rising Star” in finance. She was also named a “Top 40 Attorney Under 40” by Bisnow among Washington, D.C. lawyers who “distinguished themselves with exceptional performance.”

In addition to her practice, Ms. Gayatrinath serves as the global chair of Latham’s Recruiting Committee.

US$2,290 million of secured term and revolving loan facilities in support of the acquisition of Acosta Inc.
US$2,700 million of secured term and revolving loan facilities and €400 million of secured term loans in support of the acquisition of Axalta Coatings Systems
US$1,975 million of secured term and revolving loan facilities in support of the acquisition of Hamilton Sundstrand Industrial
US$2,000 million of secured term and revolving loan facilities in support of the acquisition of NBTY, Inc.

Kohlberg Kravis Roberts & Co. in connection with the following acquisition financings:
US$1,210 million of first lien secured term and revolving loan facilities and US$445 million of second lien secured term loan in support of the acquisition of Sedgwick Holdings
US$805 million of secured term and revolving loan facilities in support of the acquisition of Alliant Holdings
US$470 million of secured term and revolving loan facilities in support of the acquisition of Capital Safety

Axa Private Equity in connection with refinancing facilities for Photonis Technologies in an aggregate amount of US$306 million of secured term and revolving loan facilities and €50 million of secured term loans
Libbey Glass Inc. in connection with US$110 million asset based loan facilities
John Maneely Company in connection with US$400 million secured term loan refinancing facility and US$400 million asset-based revolving loans
