Mark Shafir Co-Head, Global Mergers & Acquisitions, Citigroup New York, NY Mark Shafir is the Co-Head of Global Mergers & Acquisitions and Head of Global Technology, Media and Telecom Banking at Citi. He also serves on the Global Banking Executive Committee and the Management Committee of Citi’s Institutional Clients Group. He has over 25 years of experience advising clients and leading top M&A teams. Prior to joining Citi in 2008, Mr. Shafir was Head of Global M&A at Lehman Brothers. Prior to Lehman he ran Investment Banking at Thomas Weisel Partners, a Silicon Valley based boutique. Mr. Shafir holds a bachelor's degree from Yale University, a MBA from the University of Pennsylvania and was a Marshall Scholar at Kings College, Cambridge.
