Biography

Mike Phipps has been in the commercial real estate profession since 1985 and has conducted real estate services throughout the State of Florida. He has transacted leasing and sales volumes approaching $1.9 billion dollars during his career.

Mr. Phipps assists companies in developing and implementing occupancy strategies coordinating such activities as renegotiating existing leases, evaluating and negotiating relocation alternatives and managing lease portfolios. In addition to his corporate relationships, Mike Phipps is a member of CBRE's Law Firm Practice Group and has extensive experience in representing the unique needs of law firms. Representative clients include Baker Hostetler, LLP; Akerman Senterfitt; Greenberg Traurig; Taylor & Carls; and Shutts & Bowen.

Mike Phipps continues to rank in the 'Top 10' in the CBRE Orlando Office, based on sales and leasing performance. Mr. Phipps has consistently been in the 'Top 20' in the State of Florida.

In 2003 and 2006, Mike Phipps achieved recognition as Orlando's Top Office Broker by receiving NAIOP's "Office Broker of the Year" award. Mr. Phipps completed transactions in excess of $150 million in 2006. Mr. Phipps received the prestigious Florida McCarthy Award symbolizing the highest in ethical standards. Mr. Phipps is consistently a top producer locally, statewide and regionally for the firm.

Mr. Phipps provides superior market knowledge and financial underwriting and has successfully coordinated teams of consultants to achieve clients' goals and objectives. Utilizing his superior market knowledge, Mr. Phipps has completed significant investment sales transactions during his career. He has experienced the vast majority of the real estate and economic cycles over his 25+ year career, providing the expertise to position his clients during any phase of the cycle.
