Biography

R. Mark Keenan, a leading lawyer in the fields of insurance coverage, securities and litigation, is of counsel in the New York office of Anderson Kill.

Mr. Keenan's practice focuses on insurance coverage recovery involving banking, crime, general commercial, D&O, property, securities, professional liability, marine, and other forms of insurance. His litigation practice involves general commercial, insurance coverage recovery, international, accounting, securities, and marine litigation. He commenced his professional career as a law clerk to Chief Judge Thomas C. Platt of the United States District Court, Eastern District of New York.

Mr. Keenan is a member of the firm's insurance recovery group, the financial institutions group serving clients that include broker/dealers, commercial banks, investment advisors, hedge funds, mutual funds and other financial institutions, and the Insurance Insolvency Group, the purpose of which is to protect its numerous clients in connection with the insolvencies of United States and foreign insurance companies.

From 2010 through 2014, Mr. Keenan was recognized by Super Lawyers for Insurance Coverage.

Mr. Keenan is admitted in New York and Arizona.
