Georgia Southwestern State University (GSW) prides itself on its caring, student-first attitude. Located in the small town of Americus, this mid-sized university provides academic and social diversity while maintaining the comfortable, friendly atmosphere of a smaller school. The university's academics include dozens of undergraduate programs leading to a certificate or a bachelor's degree. Among these is a unique dual-degree opportunity in Computer Science & Computer Engineering, offered in conjunction with Georgia Institute of Technology. Graduate studies at GSW include master's degrees in English, Computer Science, Business Administration and Education (Curriculum & Instruction). The university also offers a specialist program in Teacher Leadership. Financial is available at GSW in the form of grants, loans, work-study and institutional scholarships. Note that most financial aid opportunities are reserved for undergraduates, and graduate students may be limited to federal loans and private scholarships. To apply for financial aid, make sure to complete the FAFSA as soon as you can after January 1. GSW has a rolling admissions policy. There is no official application deadline, as students are admitted until space is filled. Because of this, it's a good idea to apply early in order to increase your chances of admission.

The firm's services include resolving conflicts; advancing democracy, human rights, and economic opportunity; preventing diseases; improving mental health care; and teaching farmers to increase crop production. The company was founded by James E. Carter, Jr. and Rosalynn Smith Carter in 1982 and is headquartered in Atlanta, GA.

Agnes Scott College is an independent undergraduate college in the United States. Agnes Scott's campus lies in downtown Decatur, Georgia, nestled inside the perimeter of the bustling metro-Atlanta area. The college was founded in 1889 as Decatur Female Seminary by a group of Presbyterians under the leadership of their minister, Frank H. Gaines. In 1890, the name was changed to Agnes Scott Institute to honor the mother of the college's primary benefactor, Col. George Washington Scott. The name was changed again to Agnes Scott College in 1906, and remains today a liberal arts college for women.
