Tom Fehr is a Senior Vice President and Managing Partner of Cornish & Carey Commercial Newmark Knight Frank’s Walnut Creek and Pleasanton offices, which serve Contra Costa, Southern Alameda, Solano, and Napa Counties. As an agent his focus is office leasing and sales in the North I-680 office market, which includes the cities of Walnut Creek, Pleasant Hill, Concord, Martinez, Lafayette and Orinda.

During his 24 year career in the commercial real estate industry, Tom has developed a reputation as an honest, straight forward broker. He has completed over 857 sale and lease transactions with a total consideration in excess of $1 Billion dollars. In 2011 and 2012 Tom completed 70 lease and sale transactions with a total consideration in excess of $95 Million.

Today, Tom exclusively represents more than ten office projects totaling in excess of 1.5 Million square feet. His clients include Heitman Capital Management, Prometheus Real Estate Group, Greenlaw Partners/Guggenheim Real Estate, Westcore Properties, TA Associates, and iStar Financial. Tom has worked on multiple office projects in all of the submarkets in the North I-680 office market.

Over the past several years Tom has been involved with the majority of large lease transactions that have occurred in the North I-680 office market. Completed lease transactions include Verizon Wireless renewal of approximately 144,000 square feet, Central Garden & Pet’s corporate headquarters consisting of 34,370 square feet, Kaiser Foundation Health Plan consisting of 43,683 square feet, Civil Service Employment Insurance for 33,208 square feet, James C. Jenkins Insurance for 22,810 square feet and MWH Americas, Inc. for 35,850 square feet.

Tom graduated from the University of California at Berkeley with a BA in Diplomatic History, with an emphasis on United States/Soviet relations after World War II.

Born and raised in Sacramento, Tom currently resides in Alamo with his wife, son and daughter.
